Overview

AppointMate Pro sits within Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. It is easy to install and very user friendly, if you can email, you can SMS.

The understanding, adoption and usage of AppointMate Pro is intuitive – not only is it located in your email client as a toolbar, but the look, feel and operation of the SMS window is the same as an e-mail.

System Requirements

The Channel Mobile AppointMate Pro plugin is compatible with Microsoft Outlook versions 2003 and 2007 and Microsoft Outlook Express versions 4, 5 and 6.

Question:

My AppointMate Pro SMS Button has disappeared from my Outlook

Solution:

• In Outlook click on “Help”, select “disabled Items”, locate the AppointMate option enable it and then close and re open Outlook
• If “Disabled Items” does not reflect under “Help”, then select “About Microsoft Outlook” to locate “Disabled Items”. then follow the steps listed above.

Question:
How do I change the delivery notification path for a sent SMS?

Solution:

• Locate the menu bar in Outlook then go to AppointMate – Options – Delivery – set the required path.
• New AppointMate SMS – Tools – Delivery Notifications – set the required path – When to notify me / How to notify me / When Reaching.

Question:
How do I change the reply path of a SMS?

Solution:

• Locate the Menu Bar in the mail package. Click on AppointMate – Options  – Sending Tab – check the boxes to either recieve the reply via e-mail or to your phone.

Alternatively:

• Click on New AppointMate SMS – Tools – Reply path – choose the path of choice.

Question:
How do I change the signature that appears in a New AppointMate SMS window?

Solution:

• In Outlook locate the menu bar then go – AppointMate – Options – Sending – Implement changes in Signature Window and apply them.

Question:
How do I stop SMS reminders for appointments from being sent to my handet?

Solution:

• In Outlook locate the menu bar and click on – AppointMate – Options – Reminder – Do not send SMS’s for reminders by default.

Question:
After installing Appointmate Pro, there are still no icons in Outlook

Solution:

• Click on Tools, Options, Other, Advanced Options, Add in Manager. Make sure the Appointmate Add in is ticked. Close and reopen Outlook and the icons should be there

Question:
SMS replies are not being e-mailed back to my Inbox.

Solution:

Check the reply path settings are flagged for e-mail delivery:

• AppointMate – Options – Delivery – Route.
• New AppointMate SMS – Tools – Reply Path.

If the reply is reflecting on the user site and clients settings are flagged to reply via e-mail the reply will go through, the timeframe depends on the speeds of all parties’ mail servers.
